| Tyndale International
Foundation Course “Access programme” is accredited by Coventry
University (UK). Coventry University is a forward-looking modern university
with a long tradition as a provider of high-quality education and as a focus
for multidisciplinary research. They are an established academic presence
nationally and internationally, and take great care in providing a supportive
environment for all students. Became a university in 1992, but with roots
that can be traced as far back as Coventry College of Design in 1843. Today
over 16,000 full-time, part-time, foundation, undergraduate and postgraduate
students are enrolled on more than three hundred courses of study, from
certificates to doctorates. |
| This “Access
Programme” is aimed at those who wish to take up a profession or enter
higher education but do not have the entry requirement for entry to Polytechnics
or Universities in Singapore and overseas. |
| Coventry University
(UK) guarantee places to successful International Foundation Course students
into their Bachelor Degree Programme. Tyndale Business School and Tyndale
Electronics School also guarantee places to successful students into their
BTEC Higher National Diploma courses. |
| International
Foundation Courses are organised on a semester basis similar to the way
many of the universities operate. |

| The International
Foundation Course in Engineering is conducted concurrently with the NITEC
in Electronics (Computer Technology) by the Singapore Institute of Technical
Education, which enables students able to achieve an Intermediate NITEC
award by the ITE. |
| Entry Requirement |
Singaporean
students with at least 17 years of age;
GCE ‘O’ Level subjects in English and Mathematics. |
Foreign
students with at least 17 years of age;
Secondary School/ High school/ Senior high school qualification or
equivalent
plus a TOEFL score of at least 500 (or equivalent). |
| Mature
Singaporean & Foreign students over 20 years of age without minimum
qualification will also be considered. |

| *Students
without English Entry Qualification can apply for a “6 months full-time
English Course” at Tyndale Language Centre to qualify them for entry
onto the “International Foundation Course”. |
